Introduction win 8

•Run on Laptops and Tablets.
•Supports ARM microprocessors in addition to the x86 microprocessors from Intel, AMD and VIA.
•Windows 8 for the developer community “Egypt is the only Arabic country that have win 8 developer community”.
•New Application style (Metro Style Apps).

Platform Overview

Desktop Apps : like windows application in windows 7,vista and XP like explorer 9
Metro Style Apps : Windows 8 new application Style like internet explorer 10

Features

•Metro UI.
•Internet Explorer 10.
•sync between windows 8 devices(Computer and tablets).
•Two new authentication methods: picture password , and PIN log in.
•Windows Explorer will include a ribbon toolbar(Microsoft Office toolbar).
•Hybrid Boot will use “advanced hibernation functionality” on shutdown to allow faster startup times.
•Windows To Go will allow Windows 8 to boot and run from a bootable USB device (such as a flash drive).

•Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Beta.
•Microsoft Expression Blend 5 for VS
Hint : Visual studio 2011 made for making application on windows 8 so you must install windows 8 first , you can’t run any plugin on VS 2011 like XNA  so keep your 2010
